Located in the expanding hinterland town of Yandina on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, Tropico Fruits Pty Ltd is a 100% Australian owned and operated company. We are one of the leading processors of 100% Australian tropical fruits. With more than 40 years of operations, Tropico has established a long-standing relationship with Australian growers, allowing us to procure high-quality fruit from across the country.
As a fruit solutions company, quality and customer service are our number one priority. We process a number of juice and puree products, as well as manufacturing a premium range of stabilised fruit preparations for the dairy and bakery industry. We have a dedicated product development team with local and international experience in formulating fruit-based solutions for the food and beverage sector.

Tropico is fully accredited under a certified SQF and HACCP Food Safety Management System. We also carry full Organic (SXC Cert. No. 23006), Kosher and Halal certification.
More than 40 years
in the making
Tropico Fruits Pty Ltd is one of Australia’s leading processors of 100% Australian tropical fruits. Founded in 1980 in Palmwoods on the Sunshine Coast, Tropico is part of the privately Australian owned ICM Investments Group, which owns a diverse group of entities throughout Australia and Africa, including businesses operating in the agribusiness, food processing, consumer foods, and energy sectors.
Originally operating as Sunshine Coast Citrus Pty Ltd, the business supplied fresh juice locally before expanding across Queensland and later partnering with Berri, packing the Daily Juice brand. Through the 1990s, Tropico grew its capabilities with aseptic UHT processing, producing tropical fruit juices and purees for Berri and other major Australian beverage companies. When Berri changed ownership through San Miguel and later National Foods (now LION), Tropico and the Palmwoods plant were retained by ICM Investments.
In 2007, Tropico acquired Fruit Ingredients Australia in Murwillumbah, expanding into fruit-based products and later stabilised fruit preparations for dairy and bakery. In 2018, Tropico relocated to a new, purpose-built facility in Yandina.
